Ashle' Hall, MSW, LSW
Founder of Ashle' Taylor's Collection | Advocate for Child Welfare, Integrated Health Care, and Community Empowerment

Ashle' Taylor's Collection was founded from both lived experience and a deep commitment to dignity, identity, and care.

While completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Pittsburgh, founder Ashle' Hall worked as a caseworker and quickly noticed a recurring issue—many children in foster care, especially those in transracial homes, did not have caregivers who knew how to properly care for textured hair. What may seem like a small detail can have a powerful impact on a child’s confidence, identity, and sense of belonging.

Rather than ignoring the problem, Ashle' decided to do something about it.

Ashle' holds a Master’s degree in Social Work and is a Licensed Social Worker, with a professional focus on integrated health care and child welfare. Throughout her career, she has worked across multiple systems supporting vulnerable populations and advocating for dignity, healing, and opportunity.

Her professional journey includes:

  • Working with the Mayor’s Office to help address community challenges and develop solutions that support local residents

  • Serving as a sexual trauma therapist at Pittsburgh Action Against Rape

  • Working as a therapist at UPMC Western Psychiatric Hospital

  • Supporting families as a NICU social worker

  • Supervising a youth development program focused on empowering young people

  • And currently serving as Program Director for a residential facility supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities

Through these experiences, Ashle' continually saw how care, dignity, and identity shape the way people see themselves and move through the world.

That realization led to the creation of Ashle' Taylor's Collection—an all-natural hair care line designed to help caregivers confidently care for textured hair while honoring the importance of identity and self-confidence.

Today, the mission remains deeply rooted in service: supporting children in foster care, empowering caregivers in transracial homes, and ensuring individuals in residential facilities, hospitals, and communities of all abilities have access to products that help them look and feel their best.

Because when you look good, you feel good—and everyone deserves to feel seen, valued, and confident.
